Default Anyone know this Z???

Hey all, starting to think about another C4 and saw this ad pop up on fleabay. Is this a member z or does anyone know anything about it? it's not too far from me. Might be a nice successor to my dearly departed 434

How does 623 crank hp end up at 492rwhp? That seems like a big loss.

hey surf, I noticed that too

for a frame of reference

my lpe 390 pulls 619 on the motor stand at LPE and and 508 at the tire on the rollers. LPE "optimizes" the motor dyno with the coolant and oil at just the right temps the LPE runs typically show the best the engine puts out. drivetrain loss, dyno variations, correction factors, dyno operators, all make the readings vary a bit for how much power read out. run the same car on another dyno and it might be 500+

493 is "in the the ball park" and pretty stout for a 402

anywhere near 500 at the tire is a handfull of ponies plus or minus 10 doesn't matter too much. it's about all you can hook even with really aggressive tires. the car is running right if it puts 493 down.

FYI

I did a pull at 50 deg at a "familiar" dyno in springfield and the uncorrected RWHP was 532

on a cool day with the right air the engine not only FEELS stronger it is

there is no "correction factor" for what power actually hits the pavement and the LT5 loves a nice cool dry day

my bet is that this car is pretty stout

anyone know the owner??? like to go check it out.

I sent him a message on fleabay but haven't hear back.
