Default 1990 ZR-1 value?

Hey guys, I'm looking at a black 1990 ZR-1 with about 110k miles on it. Has grey interior (not a fan of honestly). VIN is: 1G1YZ23J5L5801323

I'd say exterior is a 7/10 and interior a 7/10. Engine bay was kind of dirty though. No mods that I know of.

What do you think the value is?

Probably around $12K. What is your budget?

I can afford it...and he has it priced around $12k actually. I was just thinking that those cars went for more than that?? Or is it the miles and first year thing that hurts it?

There are a few Z owners near you in GA if you need help with an inspection.

I appreciate the offer, David, but don't think I'll need any assistance.

Just trying to get a feel for the 1990 ZR-1 market...thought his asking price seemed low but apparently not.

Just as a curtious response.....if you have never owned one of these cars take someone who knows them with you that does.

The 12k is spot on for the mileage and possibly year.

Like Dave said there are a few in your area that have a great knowledge.

There are a few "quirks" with different years e.g., OE fuel injectors prior to 93. Most are simple fixes, in spite of symptoms, and someone knowledgeable can pinpoint them quickly.
