Beautiful car but it's not an anniversary model unless it has ruby red paint. All C4s had the 40th logo in the headrest area of every model 93. Also it would have 40th ZR-1 side emblems if it was a 40th ZR-1

I never said it was the anniversary edition. I said it was the 40th anniversary and all 1953 corvettes came only in white with red. I know these cars inside out having owned multiples and following Corvettes in general since the return on of the convertible in '86 when I was a senior in high school.

Yes, but the color combo is still more rare for '93 ZR-1's than the anniversary Ruby Red

From what I've always read ALL 93s are technically Anniversary cars. It's the Ruby option that throws it off. Givin the choice I'd take a non Ruby over a Ruby car anyway. Only 203 non Ruby 93s compared to 245 Rubys n

To Eric Reeves good luck with your sale, very well documented low production ZR-1.

nniversary v=
Here we go again. All 93 vettes are 40th Anniversary cars/models. There is a Z25 option called a 40th Anniversary PACKAGE.

FYI, I dug up the Top Flight grading sheet yesterday for someone interested and have the following grading info for it. Scored 4434pts out of 4510 for a score of 98.5. Then there is a drivers point (what is it?) of 1.5 which gave it 100 and a Top Flight award. It has the award in two regions, PA and CO.

The fact that your car is White-Red has no significance towards the 40 Anniversary option. There was never a tie in between the 53-93 both being the same color combo.

The 1953 corvette only came in white/red. The 1993 should have been white/red IMO instead of ruby red or maybe the 50th even. Get it? So therefore there is significance in the color combo for anyone that realizes this fact. And the fact that only 22 white ZR1's were made in 93 making the white/red even more so.

It matters not if it is a Wedding Anniversary or an automobile Anniversary.
You should visit a library and read through a book on proper etiquette.
The proper gift for celebrating any 40th Anniversary is a Ruby.
You know, kind of like Silver for 25th, and Gold for 50th, Diamond for 60th.
Chevrolet and Corvette ( and Ford, MB, and others), being traditional have always remained true to tradition, kind of makes sense, right?
So 40 is Ruby
50 Is Gold ( check out the Xirallic Crystals in the Anniversary Red ).
60 is Diamond White ( there you go)
So yes, we " Get It", but the "it" might be something other than what you think.
Your "IMO" may realize something, but that something is not so significant, or at least it was not to those making the commemorative color decisions.
By the way, I happen to like White, but not to be special for any of the years mentioned.
You also got part of your wish in the the 35th.

Thank you for you the contribution. I do know what anniversaries are and consider these more on the personal side for giving gifts. I understand the colors and what they represent. So why wasn't the Centennial purple? The rest of your stuff in my thread is not desired nor needed. The mods can close this thing at this point.
