I don't understand why they never built a Silver ZR-1

There were no silver C4s produced during the years that the ZR-1 was available. This didn't just affect ZR-1s. The last silver metallic Corvette (before the 1996 model year) produced was in 1988.

I think that color fades more quickly than other colors

I know the ad says the car needs nothing...but

1) it is a c4
2) the antenna mast is extended in the pictures

I don't find that the case at all. My 67 has its original paint - and the color is just fine. And I've seen plenty of surviving C4s in silver (mostly 96s) and the unfaded color is still beautiful.

I thought the antenna being extended was a standard feature, sort of like flowmasters on a Fox Body Mustang.

Clear coat changed all of that. Before clear coat silver was often gone after 2 years in the sun. That's why silver almost disappeared for several years (now its the most popular car color). What you see now is clear coat deterioration, and it seems to effect the darker colors more (black, etc).

1) GIVEN.. but add C5 and C6 to that list as well. Every generation has its problems.
2) it could have been running or the key on as well while the owner jumped out to take a quick pic but good guess
