what is your budget? really nice cars seem to be in the 18-22k range, but I've seen a few dip below that. Condition of the car is really more critical than price. Buy as nice a car as you can afford as "fixer uppers" rarely work out to be cheaper (ask me how I know).

They are a the low end of the price curve right now so it's a great time to buy.
I'll definitely pay more for the right car. I'd say I'd pay in the mid 20's for a real nice one. But I'd like to stay in the upper teens/low 20's.

I'm in the same boat, I think I'm in the market for a ZR-1. I just sold my 03 Z06 and I've been watching the ZR-1 on Bringatrailer....the excellent owner comments got me interested in one. Perhaps this is what you're looking for....

I'm hoping to find a nice 93 or 94, I would like to have the passenger airbag.

Have you found anything? Seems like there are a lot of people looking for clean ZR1's.

25k will buy alot of ZR-1 There are so many registry guys throughout the country don't be afraid to travel to get the right car.

There are many great deals on 90s so again, be picky and patient, you'll be glad you did.

Once you got WOT ZR-1 for a while nothing else will quite do.
