The car has 23,000 miles on it and I think I can get the car for around 8K is there anything I should know prior to purchase since I don't know much about C4's

This is the ZR-1 section, and these cars all have the FX3 system; no Z51 packages.

However, there are many on the C4 General section or the C4 Tech and Performance section that have first-hand experience with the Z51 suspension. I would suggest you also post there as well to get more exposure for your questions.

If the car is close and you can get a snapshot of the SPID label on the back of the console door I'd post back and in the C4 "general" topic section with that snapshot. Have the seller send you the snapshot if the car isn't close. You can validate much about the car!!

This is a SPID from an '89 but you can use it for a visual identifier.
