Default Ford injectors

Does anyone know the number of the Ford 42 lbs injectors that fit our cars?
TIA,

Robin

Look up 99-04 Lightning Injectors. Does your car have a blower or lots of Nitrous?
The Ford Motorsport part number is/was M-9593-F302

Unless you are making ~1200 bhp, then 16 x 42lbs injectors will be way, way too big. The idle pulsewidth will be seriously into the non-linear portion of the injectors flow rate.

Why do you think you need 42's?

It seems to me that 42 ies were put in the car years ago. However I could be wrong (again).
I have just sent a email to engine builder.
I will report back.
Thanks

You have your numbers inverted, You need 24# injectors. I have a 368 with stage 3 intake, Stage 1 exhaust running 12.9 to 1 compression. I have two 340L/HR fuel pumps and 24# injectors.

16 42s is A LOT of fuel. 16 24s makes more sense but you didn't say if you were FI or NA.

I was wrong.
I need the 24 lbs. it must have been a brain fart.
My wrench told me to get the Ford injectors. They were very reasonable and reliable.

Ps; car makes 568.

Fuel required is based upon power output, such quantity controlled by injector size and fuel pressure. Tuners have varying preferences and recommended combinations.

Buyfordracing.com has NEW sets of 8 24lb injectors for $189 plus you'll need 2 sets of Jetronic to USCAR adaptors @ $49.99 each.

stock fuel system makes 700 hp.

why do you need those injectors? why not go with something proven to work.

Nice car, but feed the beast what it wants and needs get the correct injectors for the car

some RC or FIC would be what I'd recommend

Thanks everyone.
I did go with a set, I mean 2 sets of good ones. Everyone is right not worth worrying for a few bucks. My wrench was trying to save me some money. Good for him. The car has been on my lift for 10 years. We are going through everything and replacing everything we can.
Then it's off to have my body kit installed. Redo the last half of the exhaust. Then paint and finally redo the interior. I can't wait to get this car back on the road. I miss it.
Thank everyone for getting me back on track.
