For sale 1993 comp. Yellow zr-1
UPDATE...SOLD!!It's time to move on to something else, I am putting my 1993 competition yellow/black interior [1 of 13 yellow] ZR-1 w 50k miles up for sale, it's 100% original paint/interior with 410s, SW headers installed by Mark Haibeck, Logans chambered exhaust, short throw Hurst shifter, Haibeck chip/tune, new complete clutch assembly from Jim, new powder coated engine, SGC ported intake/heads, Fikse FM5's, Michelin pilots [335 rear], original Canadian car, all paperwork since new, both tops, anodized drilled/slotted rotors, stainless ZR-1 air blaster air filter intake [original one included], plus multiple unused NOS parts: rear goodyear eagles, multiple comp. yellow ZR-1 emblems, rear CORVETTE emblem, oil pan, ported intake, gaskets, oil filters, console lid, lower front fenders, 3 piece front spoiler. Now for some used parts: rear bumper, 2 rear Fikse FM5's, 2 A-mold wheels with Mickey Thompson drag radials, used ECM, this is just what I can remember off hand. I even have the Original 1990's ZR-1 red/white/blue leather jacket that was available when these cars came out. I have so much documentation for this car like the original window sticker, original build sheet, all Canadian documentation from GM Canada, magazines that this car was featured in and every pamphlet and brochure you can think of. This car is absolutely amazing. I purchased it from Peter Bernard in 2006 from Massachusetts and the car has resided in Illinois ever since. I'm located in Ellis Grove, Il which is about 40mi from St. Louis. I'm asking 25K firm. Would consider a ZO6 trade. brody p.

Very nice and rare car!!!
Most 1993 ZR-1's (245) were ruby and a small # were yellow.
Brody's car is loaded with all the must have in mod's and includes fikse's too!!!
Wish I was in the market for an additional Z!
Good luck with the sale!!!!!

California Smog
This seller and me have been going round around trying to handle with California **** smog rules. We are both very motivated to sell and buy. Anyone from CA care to share their wisdoms?

Best bet would be to call Mark Haibeck. He does tunes for the folks in California.
He would also know if the seller has cats or not. I know Mark does both, with and without cat headers.
Good Luck to both

the longtube headers must come off to pass visual. Consider that a lot of the older vettes get Star Station renewal requirements so you will probabaly have to swap back every two years. You can easily pass with the stock manifolds (numbers-wise).

Headers are not legal in Ca,if they were mine would have them. ZR-1s are getting harder to smog with the State lowering the max limits. My 91 with 19,000 miles, bone stock failed twice.

I think the Callaway and DRM CARB shorty headers were the only headers that pass the visual in CA. Just one of the many reasons I have zero desire to live anywhere on the Left Coast. GC
