Default Clutch Engaging High

This may not be specific to a ZR-1 but the clutch on my '93 let's out at the top of the pedal. No slippage. Is it on the way out or normal?

That's sounds about right,if it was engaging close to the floor that would be an issue.

OP: This has been discussed several times; SOP for hydraulic actuated clutches. We, my wife and I, have experience with 3 C4s: all "do that", including mine with a fresh hydraulics installed.

Thanks to all who responded. I had a fellow recently tell me it needed a clutch. I told him it was not slipping and I thought it was fine. It does let out higher than my Z06 but I did not see a problem.

You should feel it start to grab a little about halfway up but won't be completely released until foot is pretty much off the pedal.
