91 ZR1 Not Starting - Dead Battery
This problem just started yesterday and continued today again after a jump.
Noticed though today hearing a fast ticking noise from under the passenger side dash it sounded like before completely stopping.
Any ideas or suggestions greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I had a similar problem and it was due to a broken/stuck door switch on the passenger door. Charge your battery and check to be sure your interior lights are going out when your doors are closed.
I believe the ticking you hear are relays in the dash clicking on/off due to low voltage.

Yep! Sounds like a low voltage situation to me as well.
If you can get the car over to an AutoZone or the like, they can load test the battery and analyze the alternator; might be the easiest way.
Or, if you have a VOM and know a little Ohm's law, others and myself can talk you through some simple tests you can do to pinpoint any particular issues you might be having.

I just swapped an alternator last weekend-- it had the same symptoms as yours.
I too took my '91 to AZ and they put a meter on it to prove that it was a bad regulator. I swapped the alternator and everything magically worked again- serious. It was like VooDoo.

Let me know if you need a hand troubleshooting or turning a wrench. I'm (relatively) close and I'm always interested in lending a hand.
