Default High Side A/C Fitting

I have a 90 that is still running R-12 Freon. I have Freon and gauges but my the high side fitting is smaller that the low side fitting. My high side gauge connection is to big. Do they make an AN fitting adapter to make this high side gauge connection? I'm just not sure of what the size conversion I need.

A 10468A Robinair is 3/16 FFL to 1/4 MFL and was used for maybe all '77+ GM R12 - if your gauge (female is to large I'd think this correct). A 10470A is with a short flexible hose.

Your post confused me just a bit as to what was larger/smaller. Is the FEMALE on the gauges "larger" or "smaller" than the line fitting?

Sorry Dave, my gauge connection is too large for the high side fitting. So does that mean my high side fitting is 3/16 and my gauge connection is 1/4?

This MasterCool might be an easier find 90355 - one of the three I mentioned should be available locally. I believe a friend has the flexible. I recall the "red".

Yeah found a solid brass one on EBay with cap for $6.00, should have it Monday. My system must have a small leak, replaced all the high side lines 3 yrs ago. I couldn't break the connection loose from the evaporator on the low side, didn't want to break the connector so left it alone. The O-ring is probably OEM and dried out, well I've got plenty of R-12....LOL!
