1994 ZR-1 Yellow/Beige 6,800 miles
Car is SOLD.
I mentioned that I would post sale price so others could see since apparently many think it's some sort of secret. For some reason there seemed to be a lot of crazy late season interest in my car over the past couple weeks to the point a couple people seemed to be crawling over each other on the car.
I am happy to report that the car sold for $33,900

Funny thing about these forums....If and when the car sells, the seller never puts the selling price.....
I followed sales on a few cars in the past from forum members and even if I PMd them, they never would tell me the selling price.....
I see so many Zs with prices all over the board..Of course the low mileage examples are priced high.....I think it would be a good thing if the members would tell the selling price if the car sales...

I'll be glad to share the sale price when it sells. Not sure why it should be a secret, but I can only assume like many financial things in life people often keep those things private.

ZR-1s are like potato chips, you can't have just one!
for a short time I had 3
drm 450 90 zr1 black with red guys and roll bar, chrome 5 spokes
it was the first one that got me going
93 LPE all black, car was a big disappointment, but still very nice owner showed me a dyno sheet for 563 hp on the engine stand at LPE first dyno it pulled 377 and my heart sank. I followed up with Graham and found that it was and LPE 475 car, one of the early ones with forged interals, oliver rods, forged pistons on a stock bore, light ported heads, stock cams. A bit of tuning got the car to 399. I thought the car was 368 car with 4 bore, indeed it was not. took a bath on this one oy!
95 red with black guts, 5 spokes. dunns heads. smoothest z I've ever been in (and I've been in a few ) car did the nickel trick like nuttin put headers and a flowmaster exh I scrounged cheap, added GS brakes, eradispeed rotors. bought the car with 64k from Ted and drove it back from Fla to Alex Va on a Sunday 900 miles sailed by in a day I really miss this one. It pulled 363 A sgc with just the chip, a bit more with the headers and exh, 378 which shows the factory exh isn't all that bad. That car was a freak of nature, one that was spot on!
fast forward
those are all gone and only the LSV remains
A bit more radical with a 390 stroker (1 of 1 as far as I know) with ti rods, forged pistons, billet crank, and the manifold cut in half (bi furcation porting) big valves, and stage ii cams, to put down 508 at the tire. The old gal will crest 100k miles as I roll to carlisle this year
I still have 3 vettes, but the LSV ruined me for other ZR1s (unless it's a twin turbo of course!!
the old 68 mutt is another in a long line of romances with the c3 curves it's for sale and will be at carlisle this year unless it sells first!
2003 c5 z06 twin turbo never much on the c5 body design, but with a tiger shark nose, stinger turbo hood, and the spekter werkes rear with the molded in "duck tail" the car looks mean, and the twin turbos put down 800 at the tire which I figured out for me is "enough"
and of course the LSV which still is the weapon of choice due to the sweet sound, pop the top and rock
the twin turbo car of course is much faster, but the LSV will take me from zero to jail fast enough!!

I love my ZR-1 and contemplated get another but am quite happy with my Porsche. Two very different ways to hit 170+ for certain.
next car for me? Turbo Porsche, 3rd gen RX-7 or maybe a grey market r32 or r33 skyline..... decisions.

I guess your right about people not wanting to indulge in selling prices..Me, I don't think it's a big deal.....Actually I think it would give the sellers a little better idea when it comes to pricing there cars for sale..

Burning Brakes
Seems like a good price too. If I had the room and the time it'd be mine. Someday I still want one of these 21 yellow/beige cars from '94-'95.
Good luck selling!

Beautiful car... drooling as I do everytime I see one of the nine yellow/beige '94s or the 12 '95s. Still my favorite color combination (see signature).
