Are the FX3 shock orders dependant on a group purchase from Bilstein?
Not necessarily a group buy. What most manufacturers do for low volume items is stack orders over an amount of time to have a certain portion pre-sold before they make the production run on them. Some manufacturers will do it over a month or two. BBK for example I have seen them stack orders for a year which is crazy.
On these we are looking the 1st to 2nd week in January for shipping time. Maybe sooner. Most base shocks move in high enough quantity to have in production/stock all the time. FX3 was a pretty limited option though.
Yes. Bilstein is saying the FX3 is still backordered in Germany. They said mid to late January now.
Any word on the order yet? Getting impatient, lol. I would like to put the car on the ground finally with suspension done so I can put motor and trans in. Thanks
