Well done!
As you consider exhaust modifications, Marc Haibeck put a study together...

Your resonator is the biggest bang for the buck. Couple it with a Haibeck chip and you got some cheap, easy gains.
Glad you are back in ThunderDome

Had Corsa’s on the last Z. It is interesting on a Z. Relatively quiet under most conditions but when you get into the throttle, it screams like banshee. Some people like the sound others don’t. I loved it.
If you don’t use the Corsa mufflers and take the resonator out you will end up with very annoying drone. Been there done that.

the corsa muffs are much better than oem so most of the gains would be negated.
I'm partial to the b&b with x pipe. the LSV sounds SOOOOO good with that exhaust
I'm going to try adding the "flappers" on one side to go mild to wild but honestly it's quiet enough in most crooze scenarios and absolutely feral when provoked.
I did a few 8k pulls yesterday and the old 390 still gets it.
Thanks Demps for the tuning!

The Corsa system works by using a cancellation technique and has the advantage of very low restriction.
The full range of in-cabin resonant frequencies requires BOTH the resonator AND the muffler working in random. If either the resonator or the muffler is removed, the best analogy might be like maxing either the bass or the treble on the sterio player. At best the sound will be affected; performance too may have some downside as well...IDK.
Try it and see!
