Not bad, but I would not buy one without seeing it and driving it, unless you personally know the seller or have a ZR-1 knowledgeable person look it over.

Yup... add another $1500 for OEM A Molds. Otherwise, looks very clean and I actually like the Dark Red Metallic color.

Cheers,

Seems a decent price on a '94. I like that color; not overly common.

There's a number of non-stock pieces, besides the wheels, which may hint at a hard life... or not. Not sure if the mods will cause a smog fail or if the as-is car is reliable to drive cross country. With 48k on the odo, it should.

Most non-Calif cars have some rust which is death to any sale here.

Are there any ZR 'experts near New Bedford, Mass. willing to check it out?

Do you mean the hole for the speaker in the floor of cargo area? We don't have a good picture of the rear fascia to spot a hole with.

Using a huge screen, there is a small dark spot just inside the inner right taillight; too fuzzy to see exactly what or if it is a reflection. Also can't acertain the L bolster wear.

New Bedford is right on the water; salty air has caused corrosion problems with cars on the left coast.

The history shows 5 owners, all around the US! CA to FL to Mass., which is reportedly part of why the 'sacore' is on the low end (49) of the 42-65 scale, plus their is a lien showing, w/o details.

Anyone know if the RamAir intake is SMOG legal in Kal?

Just dawned on me what your talking about. The ram air system draws air from an opening (hole in the bumper) in the front bumper where the front license plate normally is.

I am not currently looking at pics here on my phone, but from your words I agree... I see a lot of listings like this and I wonder "why?". Why wouldn't a person spend a little time on cleaning and details for the best possible sale price? That extra $1k, $2k - $4k+ must not mean much.

I've yet to find a credible person who can vouch that "ram air" does anything to boost power. I gotta think this is a hack car, unlike those of so many informed owners who equip this incredible machine with parts and programming that actually works. Kinda fits with the rocks on the floor tho.

I have to agree there are a lot of tacky things showing...but again being a '94 with the 405 HP 4-bolt... Other '94s are demanding 9K more. That goes a long ways into fixing and modding the way you want! That color is not my idea of a performance machine!

Looking at the photos again there is one taken from the front. There is no opening in the bumper for the ram air. That’s actually a positive. You can see it from the inside with the engine pix. Must have it drawing air from under the bumper. One less thing to fix.

It’s actually a fairly rare car. Only a total of 448 produced that year and only one of 20 in that color. Desert Rose Metallic.

This car is priced at an entry level price so the next owner can step it up and make it the way they think it should be.

However, it does need a thorough inspection to justify the price regardless of any other opinions.

The color is subjective... I like it! I like the colors that are different like quasar blue, aqua metallic, and turquoise like I have right now.

I have owned C4s that were black, white and charcoal metallic. The charcoal metallic was my least favorite, however, when shined up it still looked pretty good.
