Radio no sound - 1990 ZR1 (Bose)

My 90 did that a few years ago, had to replace the CDM under the dash. You have to remove the passenger side kick panel and remove a screw or two and it come out from the side under the fuse panel. If you keep you eyes open on Ebay you can pick one up pretty reasonably.

Had them do my 91 a few years back and added the I-Pod hook up.

My radio has not worked since I have had the car. Honestly, never miss it! It is on my list of "To Dos", but very low priority. Dr. Don says my problem is the receiver box (can't remember the actual name of it) under the dash on passenger side. Oh well, I'll fix it someday when I don't have anything better to do.

Mine works but only 2-3 speakers so I bought a couple Nissan amps. The CD player works but you can't change the track and sometimes it says ERR when you try and eject. Radio works, not sure of cassette. Then again I don't care as I have an LT5 radio.
