Default Radio no sound - 1990 ZR1 (Bose)

Radio and antenna work, but no audio - just a little hiss. Any ideas?

Here are some trouble shooting tips, I have also had t CDM's repaired by them they can also add an I-Pod hook up.

Very happy with the results.

Thanks for the information. I just got the 8A factory manual, which shows a relay between the radio box and the amplifiers (all make a little noise). Anyone had this relay as the problem? I hope to test it this weekend.

Your bet is the EDM has failed. This is an all too common occurrence.

If your whole system is out, then the EDM is shot. If you had only a couple of speakers working then I'd say that your speaker amp were the problem.

Sorry, it is a PITA to fix. I did it in 4 hours.

Or... all your speaker amps failed. Happened to me on the previous Z.

All four failed at the same time? Wow, that is serious bad luck.

Wasn’t so much that they failed at the same time, I bought the car that way.
