If I am driving and floor her feels like she is just bearly missing . If I am cruising with the cruize control on going 70 and hit the accel button she stumbles a lot . Any ideas . `Even with the secondaries removed there are vacuum connections. On my 91 the gas tank vent solenoid hose is easily knocked loose when reinstalling the plenum.
Any chance you altered the TPS calibration?

Sounds like what happened to me. Check the fuel pump hose connections. One of the hose clamp had come loose and the hose was not connected tight to the fuel pump. Keep us advised and good luck.

You can set the TPS with a volt meter. There are some threads which show which wire you need to connect.
What year is your ZR1? The early years use a physically adjustable TPS. The later years use a fixed TPS and computer calibration.

Thanx a bunch for that info on the operable range . My car is a 90 so it is the adjustable one . Going to
pick one up tomorrow and try will also see if I can find the thread on which wire to use .

You may not need to buy a new TPS if your problem is the calibration.
Run the voltmeter test as outlined below. If the closed throttle position is set for 0.54V and if the voltage outputs are within spec when the throttle is opened, you don't need a new TPS,
BTW, if you do have to buy a new TPS, a local parts store will sell you a non-adjustable unit and try to tell you that it is the correct replacement. Look for the slots that allow the unit to rotate for adjustment.
