1991 zr1 vin numbers
One thing I have noticed is on some 91 zr1’s after the j in the vin some have an x my 91 has a 3 after the j. I’m just curious on what the difference is.

That digit is variable, and I believe is a check digit to ensure accuracy of the preceding digits of the VIN.
As such, it can be either a letter or a number.

There are 'on line' check digit calculators that can be used to confirm check digit and also confirms a VIN as valid.
