C6 Z06 brake rotors are 14" front and 13.4" rear. The carbon C6 ZR1 rotors are 15.5" front and 15" rear.

Not a bad price on these used fronts. https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...nd-rotors.html

Amazing... well done. Were you at Carlisle last year before these latest mods? I feel like I saw your car.

That is correct. Still had the other brakes and tires on at the time. Started this project when I got home from PA

Awesome job. I recall Pumba doing this several years ago with a C5Z and doing a big write up about it. If I recall he is/was an engineer with GM or had someone with him that was. What I remember the most was that he had to redo all the suspension because the knuckles were not strong enough to handle the loads the brakes could exert on them. Not saying you will have an issue but its worth a search over in the C5 part for it.

False... we race C5s on stock uprights on slicks no issues. Punbas car was very nicely done, but he didn’t change uprights due to brake torque.

Default Pumba

Pumba and I emailed back and forth a few times. My car is more about the show and rarity than race track performance. I do drive my car but I don't want to subject the paint to hard track days. Thanks for the input!

so if i am googling correctly....

the zr1 CF brake rotors should fit over 18" wheels assuming offsets are correct ?

i found a set of 18"/19" wheels i think they call the Cup versions of an anniversary 427

Cup wheels were exclusively 19"/20", so you may be looking at replicas. C6 ZR1 rotors typically need 19" wheels up front to clear, though there are a couple of 18's that will fit.
