Default First drive of the new year.

The temp hit the low sixties so I thought time for a little drive and get some lunch at a little local place. It was good to drive the car after it had been sitting all winter long.

Thank you. I see you do. What kind of wheels do you have?

The Shelby's look awesome. I like the black face. The Fiske are great looking wheels also. Currently I have chrome A-Molds on the car but I have the stock wheels also. Have BFG drag radials on the back of the A-Molds. My friend Jeff has a set of the Shelby rims on his 91 ZR1. I would like to go with larger rims so I can do 14" brakes.

Jeff's car with the Shelby wheels

My first 91 Z had chrome A-Molds

Even my 96 LT1 had chrome A-Molds Gee I'm getting sick of them lol. But hey Jeff gave me the set for my current car so I'm not complaining.

I was thinking about buying new ones in either the black finish or the painted silver ones. I found out years ago the chrome ones don't hold up so well in winter driving with salt on the roads from driving my 96 which was an everyday driver. I had planned on swapping back to the factory rims but it snowed before I could get them on.

I saved a pic of this car cause I liked the wheels. It recently sold on Ebay for $21,500 and change. It was a 25,000 mile car. And also a 91.
