I would like to be able to find a special mechanical workshop in ZR1 (mine is from 1992).

If someone from the group is understood in ZR1 and is in the Miami area, please send me a message. thank you!!

Default Vette wrench in Miami

The guys at SS Performance are great, in my experience. Ricky is a top wrench! Hope this helps!

I'm sure their great as you say but do they know LT5 engines? There are many fantastic Corvette shops that have screwed up an LT5 engine or just take one look and say no.

I suggest getting a professional opinion from Jim Jandik at
Power Torque Systems, L C,located in New Virginia, Iowa (641)342-7446 Jim is very savvy on Zr-1's as he races them, and is the foremost authority on their clutches/flywheels/etc . He helped with my clutch/flywheel overhaul. Very pleased! He is a friendly guy, and is very knowledgeable, IMO. Hope it helps

Do you have only one problem or are you looking for someone for any issues you need in the future?

Whats up Mr XS MPH Aaron Scott at SGC is a very sharp guy who can take care of the Z

I think he still has one of the more potent 368 cars that put out up over 475 at the tire

ran great too He's done a bunch of strokers and even a couple of Turbo ZR-1s

Wayne's ZRs are amoung the best! And Aaron took care of them. Great guy to work with, Thomasville GA

I was able to stop by SS Performance, and spoke to the owner. He stated that they have earned the trust of local ZR-1 owners and were referred business from as far away as Atlanta. Jose is a straight up, sincere car nut, and brought Gary, to his Shop, as manager from local Corvette legend, Dave Walters, where they worked together. Gary, is also very involved with Sunshine Corvette Club. He has a wealth of knowledge on all things Corvette.

They are knowledgeable and friendly. Everyone I've recommended, likes their service. Ricky or Christian, are very easy to talk to, and are extremely experienced in the pit.

Stop by and get to know them. Hope my opinion, and experience helps you guys with those badass Z-R1's!
