When I started up my 87 this year, the instrument cluster went out. Checked all fuses it might be, and that didn't help. I've had discussions from complete new dash to just a wire that is broken. Has anyone had this problem and know how to fix it? Thanks.

VERY common problem.
Remove.
Send out for reasonably priced re-condition.
Re- install.
Good to go!

Batee.com is where you need to look. You may also want to post over on the C4 Tech forum. Here on the ZR-1 forum our ZR-1 clusters are all the later C4 style. Few here will have much experience with the earlier cluster.
