Need to paint my "corvette" and "4 cam 32 valve" what kind of paint should I use???
I just finished painting all my parts with the paint from ligenfelter they look great! but know I need to black out the letters
any ideas on what paint I should use for this could I use some flat black testors model paint or should I get something else?
I was also thinking of just brushing it is that cool?
what have you guys done?
thanks

Drive down to your local hobby shop and pick up a paint stick in the color of your choice. They're kinda like a high-tech magic marker.

DecoColor paint markers. Like Clint said, go down to your local craft store. They should stock them.

I would recommend the extra fine tip. That works the best. The fine tip is just a bit too large to fit into the grooves of the letters.

Also - don't use flat black - use gloss black (or whatever color you like) - originally the letters were painted a gloss or semi gloss - not flat. :seeya

I went to an auto paint supplier and had them mix me up about 3-4 ounces of gloss black enamel, it was more than enough and cost $10.00. :)

If I used testors I would use a brush to apply it.
but I think the paint pen will work best for the letters and numbers.

I used flat black enamel from local hardware store. Used small paint brush to apply. I like the look of flat better than gloss. Durability of enamel if good.
