What year is that motor ? Just curious...
It's a 90, with 11,000 miles when we pulled it out 2 weeks ago. All original, down to the LT5 scripted plug wires.

That's too sweet! I have a set of my original 90 wheels that I just media blasted...they are stacked in the garage awaiting glass tops for the "boys room" :D

I had been trying to remember where I had seen something like that. In Austin is exactly the place.

Congrats...looks good.

Oh my god! You're right here at Canyon Lake!!! An LT5 coffee table and a LPE under the hood. I must come out and worship

Are you a member of the TCA? I was thinking of joining.

That is very cool. Any fumes or odors coming from the motor?

I lost ya - you mean from the oil? I presume he drained it of coolant and oil. Good question though.

Yes, fluids were drained, and the entire exterior of the motor was degreased with carb cleaner. Amazing how even a pristine 11,000 mile motor can still be dirty!

There is still a bit of "eau de motor" when you sit near it, but hopefully that will improve once I reinstall the injectors, which are still out.

I would think the tire coffee table would have more odors... I hate the smell of rubber, especially when you walk into a tire shop... :U

Actually, 13 year old Gatorbacks have no rubber left in them. :D

They literally have NO odor. If they did, the wheel alone would have been the coffee table.
