I have had mine on an engine stand in my home for the last 6 years. I has been in the living room and now is in the den. Sanjay's coffee table was my inspiration. I also degreased mine and it has no odor at all. Nothing like staring at an LT5 in your home.

I watch DIY religously, I know I have issues, but on Garage Mahal they turned the Car and Driver garage into a cool man cave hang out. Anyway, they used old hub caps as wall sconces. They wired and hung a lighting fixture to the wall, and instead of glass or some other material, they bolted a hub cap to the fixture. I am deffinately stealling that idea. I am currently trying to find a cheap small block and turn it into a table. I am also making piston lamps to go on side tables.

I watched 4 guys carry a Dodge 440 with two fours on a tunnel ram down the fire escape at the barracks when I was in the USAF. They lived on the third floor of the mens barracks and there was a large crowd that watched when they brought it out. Very narrow, open mesh, grated steel fire escape with two turns for each floor. Apparently they had built it in their barracks room and had to take the headers off to get it through the door. It was a complete turn key motor. Fan, Alternator, Plugs, Wires, Distributor, Motor Mounts it was complete. Timed and Primed. If one of them would have stumbled it would have taken them all to their graves.
