Hib did a test using no filter and using the stock and saw no difference. Problem with those is where they take in the air. The stock system gets some cooler air these take in air from one of the hotest areas od the engine compartment.

thanks tyler. not sure why these would draw hot air. aren't they positioned same as stock???
maybe a ram air box could work.
the stock "over the hump" neck sure looks small to me. I was cleaning/oiling the filter this weekend and thought "wow, that looks small"
but from what I read, the stock air cleaner will do 800 HP, so not much gain to be had there!!
