Power seat track repair
Anyone have a source for the gears or replacement "transmission" for the powered seat tracks. Seems a shame to spend $150+ for a remanufactured seat track (new motor is not included) when it's not rocket science to remove/replace the transmission or overhaul it. The aftermarket companies offering the rebuild service are getting the parts from somewhere :smash:

Re: Power seat track repair (ZRVET)
I've got one with the gear going out...I hear it's a similar gear to what's in the headlight units...should cost about a buck, but don't know where to get one...
It's a labor intensive job only...but half the work is getting to it anyway, something you'd have to do to replace the track...
