XTREME Corvette Club of Texas and LG Motorsports is proud to bring you the 2001 Corvette Showdown "Fastest Street Vette in Texas Shootout IV". We will have both bracket racing and heads-up style racing. This event is good for any type of racer from the amateur to the die-hard enthusiast. This event it open to all year Corvettes from mild to wild from all over the US (you do not have to live in Texas to participate), street legal only (PLEASE NO RACE CARS). Your car must be street legal, meaning it must have current state inspection and insurance. We will have three bracket classes and two heads-up classes. Awards will be given for first and second place in all five classes. Please go to

Date: Sept. 8 2001
Time: 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Prizes: 1st & 2nd place Trophies awarded in all five classes
ALL NHRA RULES APPLY
Cost: $25 per tech card for racers & $10 for spectators
