I found this pics and was wondering if this color was available for the c4 or if it has been repainted? If it was an available color it must be very rare cause I never saw a purple c4 before. Awesome looking car with powerful brakes... nice ride

They did make a purple in 95, not many made. But if you look at the roof (B pillar) it's been painted black. Need to grab the color codes off the stickers on the car to be certain.

And yes those Porsche brakes are awesome, but expensive at the same time, but the haul the car down real quick.

are we sure that's a z in the pic? i cant see the high brake light. also, arent the brake disks on backwards? i always thought the swirls enter the brake pads outer edge first.

Good catch on the brake light....but then again who knows, it's a show car.

As for the brakes, the vents are to push are air out not pull in.

Hmm, Did you guys get a look at the diffuser on thier web page?

there is no direct link

http://www.movit.de/rahmen/corvette.htm
then click "diffuser by movit" in the list to the left

kind of sloppy, wonder if it really works.

I am not sure if it is a ZR1 or not either, no CHMBL. But they did replace/paint the halo so maybe they removed it then.

Color is Dark Purple Metallic. '95 was the only year the ZR1's had it. It replaced Black Rose Metallic. According to the ZR1 special issue of either Vette or Corvette Fever a few years back this is the rarest ZR1 color (but I have seen other sources that contradict this).

"ddivinia" don't you have these brakes on your white ZR1?

Phil Dejohn owns a Purple 95 ZR-1. Maybe he will add to this thread.
My car has Movit-DE's Brembos on the front.

Mine's no ZR1, but that's my color. Gotta love it.
