Hi, I've been checking out conte's website and he has 2 ZR-1's for sale - the one i am thinking of is the balck/black - it's for 33K - is that a good price? It has 12K miles on it. Thanks in advance.

That is WAY high. When I was shopping around for a '91 I found a lot in the mid to upper 20's. The one I found was a '91 Polo with 25K on the odo and paid $23K for it. You can find them all day long in the mid 20's if you take some time to look around. Call Bud's Chevrolet. They usually have a couple or know of some being sold.

I just got off the phone with the owner of a Black/Grey 91 ZR-1 in Greenville,SC. The car is in excellent condition, has 33K miles, and is stock except for a Borla exhaust system and custom chip. He just replaced all the injectors, also. He's trying to make up his mind whether to sell the car or join the LT5 Registry to get involved with us. If he decides to sell the car,the price will be around $23K. I'll keep everyone informed if it comes up for sale.

I'm friend's with this guy and have been trying to help him sell it. I've driven this car and can tell you it is awesome and looks flawless. I couldn't find a flaw on it. The exhaust is nothing short of badass. I have a bunch of pics. Email me if interested. John

John, the owners name I talked to was Dave McGill. Is that the car you're referring to? I tried to talk him out of selling it and mailed him an LT5 Registry information packet today.

Hey Clint,
Yup thats Dave. Real nice guy. Last I heard he wanted a Convertible C5 and had to get rid of the ZR to get it. I could tell he really wasn't in a big hurry to get rid of it, but man I wanted his car bad. It was the first I looked at when I started searching and it was an absolute cream puff. I would have bought it if I had a little more money, but no luck. I would love for him to keep it too. There's only about 3 of us in the area ( 92 Comp Yellow in Seneca, my dark red 90 in Clemson, and Dave's 91' in G-ville. I hope you can talk him into keeping

Nice, but I don't like the hood graphics one bit.

That ZR-1 with the hood graphic belongs to one of our LT5 Registry members in Florida. That graphic can be easily removed. He just purchased a modified 40th Anniversary ZR-1 and doesn't need two ZR-1's.

I just purchased my 1991 ZR1 for 16.5K. Its an awesome car! 71K on the odometer and immaculate paint and interior. The plenum has a few small stains, but it still looks bad a**!

Scott, the price on that Florida ZR-1 has been reduced to $28K. It's in beautiful condition and probably has $10K in extras.
