Actually, I'd like an LT4 convertible, but I'm cash-poor. I have a white 93 LT1 ragtop, in beautiful condition. It has less than 18k miles on it, 10k of which I've done. No burnouts, no drag racing.
I have the hardtop and the original tires, in addition to the GY F1s that are on the car. Aside from the tires, everything is original. Pix of this car can be seen on my website. Has to be seen IRL to appreciate (for example: no scuffs at all on wheels).
I think the added value of a vert + hardtop is the equivalent of the added value of a 3-year-newer car + LT4. That's why I'm looking for an even trade for an LT4 coupe in comparable condition.

Jack-
With all due respect...
Let me know if you find someone to make this deal. And don't let them leave with only your car, sell them something else-anything!
But seriously, I have an LT-4 C/E in seabring silver. It has only 40000 miles on it and is in pristine shape, but there isn't even an ounce of possibility that I would trade it for even a 1 year older car. My guess is whoever has the LT-4 bought it for that reason, and isn't about to consider an LT-1 for the same dollar. Loved your car though. Keep your eyes peeled, the right deal will come along, but I doubt it will be a trade.
Best of luck.

I realize it would have to be the right circumstances.
You say "What kind of nut would part with an LT4?"
Someone else would say "What kind of nut would go from a vert to a coupe?"
I'm not in any hurry. If I were, I'd sell my car for about $24k. That kind of money would buy a pretty nice LT4 coupe.

OK, my opinion. Sell the 93 if you want an LT4 vert, and save for it. You might just find the deal of a lifetime on one. I paid $27,500 for my car on Dec 26, 1997.

And yes, it is the LT4 vert. The car only has 28,000 miles on it. Had 9800 when I bought it.

As I said, I'm in no hurry, and don't want to be Vetteless (especially in the summer!)
