If you like it, buy it. However, I think you could get an LT4 for the smae or less money. Just my .02.

Yes, I know an LT4 brings more than an LT1. However, you can get a CE LT4 for $23K.

It all depends on where you live......if you can get an LT4 CE for $23K buy it fast! I know one sold in Texas a few weks ago for $27K.
All CE's bring a premium price....they are COLLECTORS!

Can you buy a Grand Sport for under $25K with less than 45,000 miles?

If that link does not work, it is for a 96 Collectors Edition, 53K miles, chrome wheels, both tops, for $18,000

My problem is that the bank says that I have to go through a franchised chevy dealer to get the financing. Gotta be a 96 with less than 60,000 miles. Kinda limits my variety.
But i'm itchin so bad fot an LT1.

Do a search on www.autotrader.com . This is where I found the cars above. Dealer's have them, but they will want more.

96 LT4.....if your point is that CE's can be bought below blue book value, I know that. My point is that ALL CE's will cost you more than other 1996 Corvette coupes.....should I go on??????

Look...before too much time is wasted here....in 1996 there were two Special Edition Corvettes..the CE and the GS....both will cost more than all other 1996 Corvettes...if you disagree, email me privately.
