1984 corvette, white/carmine red, auto, Z51 - for sale in NJ
Selling my '84 vette, white w/ carmine red interior, with 98,000 miles. Has Z51 suspension. Has auto transmission. I bought the car three years ago from a good friend. Car was owned by him and his father previously. Has been garage kept for past 10 years. Selling price: $4,000

Exterior:
Paint is overall in very good shape. Car was repainted about 10 years ago in original white color. There is some slight variations in color between SMC panels vs urethane bumbers, but overall paint is very presentable. There are rock chips in bumper and around headlight covers. Headlights have since been properly aligned and function perfectly. New door hinges were installed by reputable body shop, beacuse doors were sagging: Door now open and close perfectly. New weatherstripping around targa top, door windows, and rear hatch installed by me. I have new weatherstripping for doors, but it has not been installed yet. Since doors were realigned and with new weatherstripping, windows need to be aligned. If I lower windows about 1/2 inch before closing doors, its fine. All glass in very good shape. Windshield without any cracks.
Interior:
Electronics: Digital LCD screen works perfectly. Dims as it should at night and bright during the day. No flickering. Cruise control works perfectly. Bose radio w/ casette works, but occasionally just shuts off. Casette does not work. Speakers are ok at low volumes, but distort at higher volumes. Antenna works perectly.
Dash: No fading or cracking.
Console: Panels are somewhat faded, but overall in good condition.
Seats: In excellent shape. They are the original perforated leather seats, with minimal wear.
Carpets: Faded, but overall quite clean and no tears.
Mechanical:
Original 350 cid w/ crossfire injection. 98,000 miles.
Original auto transmission.
Engine run excellent, but has small oil leaks at valve cover gaskets and oil pan.
Transmission shifts very well and firmly, but does have small leak.
Rear differential in excellent shape with no whinning or abnormal sounds.
Car drives very straight.
Air conditioning all present, but blows hot air.
Brakes stop very well.
Upper and lower ball joints in good shape. Upper ball joints were replaced at about 75,000 miles (prior to me purchasing): Rivets were drilled out and bolts are present. There is no movement at 12 and 6 position.
Hubs are all in apparently good shape, with no whinning or abnormal sounds.
Miscellaneous:
Radiator removed, and flushed last year. New upper and lower radiator hoses and new heater hoses. Car runs at 205 degrees when driving and will rise to 228 degrees in traffic, but will immediately cool off to 210 when fan comes on. Temp never goes past 228. If the car is moving past 10 - 15 mph, it will stay at 205 - 210 degrees.
New battery this year.
Rims were refinished when car was painted and are in overall good shape. Tires in front are tigerpaws and have plenty of thread left. Tires in back are Remingtom's and have some, but little thread left.
Have factory service manual (Helm's) that will come with car.
Have new air filter, plugs, spark plug wires, rotor, cap, fuel filter, pvc filter, and thermostat for car that will come with car.
