Pricing
You are probably aware of this but I'll mention it anyway.
Did some research and came to the conclusion that the Z25 Ruby option was by my estimate THE most popular option ever offered by Corvette.Sure they sold a lot, that just means the car has enormous appeal to a lot of potential buyers.Plus yours has extremely low miles.
Keep this in mind when negotiating your price, you have probably a lot more potential buyers than average.
Begs the question "Why aren't you closer to HIGH retail",your car is definitely NOT average.

My experience (Premium cars)
Seems like the prevailing attitude is start low and take the best offer you get.?????
I've never HAD to do that !!!!
When it comes to high prices I think you have to make a decision about your time frame. If you have time (months not days)to sell, start high.
A high price weeds out the flakes who can't afford the car regardless of how good a deal it is.
I've twice sold a car to people who came back 2 months and 3 1/2 months later after looking at 1 overpriced dog after another.I've also sold cars to people who said the price was basically irrelevant. They had been looking for months and finally found the best one available.
Case in point a Honda Prelude 1992 in perfect condition 31,000k (10yrs old),made the deal at $3,000.00 over max.retail in 5 minutes. He wanted a new old Prelude 2 door. Last year I sold my 87 Roadster 82,000k for $15,000.00 after 2 months. People will pay high prices for older specialty cars in unusually good condition. Exposure is key!!!!! find a spot in a high traffic area and park the car with max. exposure(weekends)are best.PATIENCE is key to success!!
My $00.02
P.S. I do this for fun (and money)but don't make my living at it.

TTT for a beautiful Ruby. Low mileage, unmolested true 40th anniversary 'Vette's are becoming rare so hold the line. You should have no trouble with the sale if you are patient.
Good luck,
Mark

Nice ride! Good Luck from a fellow Ruby owner!
It is really nice to see a thread on here where fellow members are supportive. My post here is to keep the positivity alive. I am really tired of people bashing peoples asking prices.
I agree that you are asking too little. (bias, maybe).
Let us know how you do!

Thanks for the positive comments. We love the car. Belonged to my wife's niece who became ill and can no longer drive. We purchased Ruby for my wife in September 2005, when it had 9,600 miles to keep her in the family. The only thing we have done is replace tires, battery and all fluids. Otherwise completely original. She does well at Corvette shows and was recently displayed in the Sacramento Autorama as part of a six generation display.
We also own a 2003 50th anniversary edition (similar color in dim light). Hard to justify two corvettes, plus wife is having knee replacement. The C4 is harder to get in and out of than the C5.
Thanks for looking.
