Please reply with VIN, description of everything not working or looking as intended, number of owners and how long you've owned it. Do you live in Jackson? Years ago I lived in Grand Rapids and then later in Detroit. Peter

I am technically the third owner, it was bought by a family friend and I have been in posession of the car since 1993, I just titled it a couple years ago in my name. the vin is 1G1YZ23J2M5800325 the ONLY thing that does not work right is the speakers, which im not in a hurry to fix, and there is some "SLIGHT" paint chipping on the very bottom of the front nose.

The package is the best thing you can possibly do to any motor. Its a complete dissasembly of the motor and rebuilt with an entire FORGED bottom end, including new forged pistons, rods, and main bearings. Then the heads and intake are ported and polished, balanced and blueprinted. Then a more agressive"custom" cam and tune are set in place. As well as a valve job, and new seals for the entire motor.Anyone will tell you this does nothing but prolong the life and "strength" of the motor. It has always been an all motor car, but could be ideal for someone to add forced induction. The car has NEVER been to a dragstrip, just Michigan International Speedway(and they dont really let you get after it out there in any street car) In my opinion its already much too fast for the street! Its hard to explain, you really have to drive it to know! Feel free to call any of the engineers at LPE and give them the vin or just inquire about the package, they will be happy to explain it in any detail you need. A Bona Fide Race Motor, (that has to live its life under 70mph)

No, thank you though. The new ZR1 is the motivation for the sale of this car. plus if you check out this link, with GM putting a hold on the future of RWD cars??? It may be the last of its kind with that type of neck snapping power???

I have never let anyone less than a GM master tech touch the ZR1. (minus oil changes) is do my self sometimes. All service records are kept and routine maintenance is done by Art Moehn Chevrolet in Jackson,MI. They have a Great Corvette mechanic there that i trust my twenty five thousand dollar motor to!
I take it there mid summer for an annual once over, and drive it directly there upon exiting winter storage. Im positive if there were any issues regarding the emissions/exhaust they would inform me.
the bottom of the LPE link includes this:
50 state emission legal under Carb EO # D-333-3
Thanks for the inquiry and I hope this will answer your question

Thanks for the Bump!
Paint is immaculate, except for some front nose (lower chipping). Im 99% sure its from road debris. I use Zaino on my black corvettes, its the best product ive used thus far! I am trying something new today hopefully depending on shipping! I will update the pics this weekend, as i should be recieving my orbital polisher and meguiars polishes from autogeek.net Im interested to see if it will out perform the elbow grease method!
