Up for sale is a 1996 Chevrolet Corvette. It has the LT4 engine and 6-speed manual transmission. The car currently has 57,721 miles. It has Torch Red exterior and Red interior.
VIN #1G1YY2252T5105381
The car is overall in excellent condition. There are a few small paint chips here or there from normal use (happened with previous owner). Interior is also very nice. Driver's seat shows more wear than passenger as can be expected.
I replaced the battery at the end of October of last year. The car has the option code for both tops, but unfortunately when we bought it the current owner only had the tinted version; no painted top. I'm not sure he even knew it was supposed to have both as he was the 2nd owner I believe.
I just had the oil changed with Mobil 1 last month. At that time I had a Hurst short-throw shifter and shifter **** installed. Also, the A-mold wheels that are on the car now were installed at the same time. They are aftermarket wheels but very nice. I have the original wheels boxed up in storage. The car had the low tire pressure sensors on it originally but when I purchased the car one was already broken so I had the rest removed with the old rims when I put the new wheels on this spring. We inspected the sensors and it looked like of the four only one was still working anyway. As such, the LTPWS light on the dash stays on. I was going to go in and turn it off manually but I then decided to sell it and didn't want to do so if the new owner might prefer otherwise. The car has a 3" exhaust system from B&B Performance Exhaust along with ceramic coated headers. It also has slotted and drilled rotors. I purchased a new remote entry keyfob last year as well.
This is a great car. The only reason we are selling it is because my father has a hard time getting in and out of it now and our garage is too full.
If you have any questions at all please feel free to send me a PM or reply here. Thanks for looking.

I have the car for sale elsewhere for the original listed price of $14,500 but wanted to offer a slightly better deal on the forums here in hopes of a good home. As such I lowered the price to $13,999.
Thank you.

Great price for a clean car. It should not last long.

Man, that's a pretty car! I have a 2003 Z06 right now in which I sold my 1996 Collector's Edition LT-4 6-speed and sometimes I really wonder if I did the right thing. I really miss that silver car and could easily own another '96 someday. Good luck with the sale. Looks like a great car.
