Default 1990 Corvette SOLD !!!– South Carolina

SOLD!!

I SOLD MY CAR TO A LOCAL GUY WHICH I'M SURE YOU WILL SEE HERE ON THE FORUM SOON.

I WANT TO THANK ALL OF YOU THAT SUPPORTED THE REAL VALUE OF THIS CAR.

**************************************** *************

Unfortunately, I must sell my pampered 1990 Corvette, 6 speed transmission, with 70,450 miles. This car is clean and strong running. Garage kept, non-smoker, regularly maintained, and everything in working order except the seat belt light stays on.

Exterior is Bright Red and does have minor dings (paint chipped only and touched up) in front from highway driving. It has one clear coat blemish on right rear side, not peeling, was rubbed off. I have put chrome Z06 wheels on it and do have the stock wheels which can be negotiated. I also have a bra for the front and a car cover.

Interior of car is black leather and is in very good condition. No rips or tears in seats. Has carbon fiber console and dash, which is nicely done. It has an aftermarket stereo but I do still have the original Bose radio only, no speakers.

There are no major mods on this car. I have put a K&N filter with an open air box, and a Flowmaster exhaust.

The following repairs have been done within the last 5000 miles:
Tune up, with wires
New fuel injectors
New clutch and pressure plate
New dual mass flywheel
New clutch slave cylinder
New thermostat
Cooling system flushed
New tires

I have been very honest about the condition of this car. This was my first Corvette and I have owned it for 6 years and have put only 25k miles on it. I would drive it anywhere at anytime. Just came back from Bowling Green, KY with the Corvette Caravan. I am selling it because I am purchasing a C5 Corvette.

$9.5k asking, $6k offer is about 60% of asking. I'd say the seller doesn't think the "offer" is worthy of a response.

You are 100% correct however I have the money to buy, he needs the money. I don't have to buy his car but he does need to sell it, I can be patient I am in no rush, he obviously cannot be patient.

I am sure he will find a buyer and I know I will find the right seller.

I apoligize, I thought I did respond. I cannot accept $6k. The thing is, if anyone were to buy this car for $6k, it would be worth at least $8k as soon as you drove off in it.

I don't think you owe anyone an apology!

For real, don't sell that car for less than 9k the least. That car is beautiful. Be patient and you will get it. Your car is worth a lot more than 9, damn economy.....

Dude! Have you advertised in in Corvette Trader or any of the national rags? I have a 90 with 43K miles that I jumped at the chance to pay $9500 for and it's not as nice as your car. Stick to you guns and advertise it over a larger range. You can list an add on Craigslist in any area.

Just my $.05 worth...inflation and poor economy has killed the worth of my opinion too
