Mace, you been trying to contact the OP? My guess is the car sold and he vanished from here.
Just had a guy sell one out from under me after offering it at a REAL low price...so I'm in a crappy mood this morning.

mp3 player input on 95 Corvette
The stock, non-Bose radio has 2 parts in the dash unit, a "head" and a tape deck. The output of the tape deck is a shielded stereo cable running from the tape deck to the head. So to convert from cassette to MP3, you cut the cable at the tape deck, solder on a mini-jack to the end of the cable you just cut (Leave as much length as you can on the cable for the next step). Epoxy the cassette loading door on front permanently shut. Drill a hole in the center of the now fixed cassette tape door, and install the jack. You will notice the graphics on the front of the cassette door has a nice little dip right in the center, which makes it look factory.

Well, I’m not sure why the thread was re-activated, probably because of the inquiry to the radio. I actually do still have the car. I had decided to keep it, but may re-consider if there is an interested party. It now has 79,900K mi, and just got a new battery and starter. If interested I can be reached at haz614@hotmail.com
