1992 Quasar Blue Convertible 6-Speed FS
1992 Corvette Convertible
43,300 miles – Very Original and Unmolested!
Key Features and Statistics:
• Of the 20,479 Corvettes built in 1992, only 5,875 or 29% were convertibles, and only 27% had six-speed manual transmissions. Coupes and automatics were by far more popular.
• This car also features power driver and passenger Sport Seats (39%), Delco Bose stereo system with CD (74%), and the convertible-only rare luggage rack (14% of the 5,875 built).
• Most importantly it is painted in rare Quasar Blue Metallic, a color offered for only four years (’90 – ‘93). A scant 5% were painted this color in 1992.
So you do the math: How many Quasar Blue, six-speed convertibles with power sport seats and luggage rack do you think were made? Not very many!
This is no “Me Too” Corvette – it is an investment-grade car bound to appreciate in value in the future. But while you wait…it runs like a top and is a blast to drive! It is fully maintained and ready to roll. You can drive it anywhere.
The car comes with both original sets of keys and the original manuals. To my knowledge the only items replaced have been the tires (Yokohama), battery (Delco), canvas top (with OEM Haartz fabric exactly to factory specs), and serpentine belt (factory OEM). This car should easily Top Flight®
The car is very clean inside and out with no evidence of accident or frame damage. The cross brace is perfect.
Asking $16,000 but cash talks! I live near Flemington, NJ. I can drive it to Hershey or Fall Carlisle weather permitting.
Please call my cell: 973-477-8547 or email mbovino@uniclean.com if seriously interested. I can send lots of photos.
BTW: Please refrain from low-ball offers. No offense but I don’t need the money, my time wasted, or your opinion of what you think it is worth. Try to ponder the future; the more desirable C-3s are finally getting their due and the rarer C-4s can’t be that far behind.
Thanks, Mike
I've added the Options List for this car taken directly from the build sheet on the center console door. See the items with asterisks.
