F/s 1996 grand sport #883 - $22,000
hello, i am selling my 1996 commemorative edition grand sport corvette. it is #883 of 1000. the motor is all stock. it has tinted windows, a few minor tasteful chrome bolt covers under the hood, and the installation of a switch under the hood to turn off the under hood lights. it also has a forced air induction, and 4.09 gears. i have all the original documentation with the car, window sticker, and vhs tape. it has 61,100 miles on it. everything works as it should. it has never been in any accidents, no paint work, never smoked in. black interior is in excellent condition, as is the exterior. tires are like new goodyear f1's with less than 4k miles. i dont feel the need to explain the collectibility and rarity of the '96 grand sports here with so many corvette enthusiasts, so i wont. i am located near st. louis missouri. im sure i am forgetting something, but please feel free to ask any questions you may have. i am asking $22,000, but i am negotiable within reason. thanks for looking, brian. 618-5eight0-8seven04, call anytime.

Brian,
Are you positive your car is 1996 Grand Sport #883? My records show this particular car is anything but stock with several performance mods installed by a previous owner. The car could have been returned to stock or my records could be incorrect. Contact me via private email at hutch@hashmarks.com for info.
And hey... why didn't you ever join the Grand Sport Registry???

yeah im sure it is #883 per the vin. i havent owned the car for very long, and now i am forced to sell it. if i could keep it i would definitely join the registry, i love the following these cars have. i will email you concerning the performance mods. i was told by the previous owner it was stock, but he didnt say anything about major performance mods. id be curious to see what your records show, and definitely look into it. if i am wrong about the mods, it will post it as soon as i know for sure. thanks for the info, cant wait to hear from you.

so after some research, i need to clear some things up with my grand sport #883 for sale. the question was raised about performance mods vs. stock. the motor is stock, however, the car has a few light mods. all the modifications i know of on the car are, tinted windows, chrome cover bolts and filler caps under the hood (i still have the original ones as well), a switch to turn the under hood lights on and off for times when the car is being shown with the hood open for long periods of time, a forced air induction, and 4.09 gears.
i hope this clears up the issue of the car being stock or not. stock motor, a few other mods. thanks, still for sale $22,000 obo. brian, 618-580-8704

Brian, thanks for the clarifications on GS #883. The mods you mentioned are relatively minor and should have no effect on the value of your car. Judging from the photos, it has obviously been well taken care of if not pampered. I for one would have no issues buying this car today if only I had the garage space!
Good Luck!

Actually, I had a nice 4-post lift but eventually sold it as it wasn't practical in my crowded garage... too short and not deep enough.
Hmmm... Seems to me I've had similar complaints from my WIFE!
Sorry, I couldn't resist.
