1989 C4 Corvette - $1850 (Lawrenceville, GA.)
SOLD
__
1989 C4 Corvette Coup - Dark Red Metallic.
Clear Title - Not a parts car..., This is a project however.
Mileage - just under 170,000
Location - Lawrenceville, GA.
This car was disassembled from the firewall forward to prep for paint. (engine and 700r4 trans. were removed as well as the front suspension). Hood and bumper were never removed to retain factory alignment.
The car has been re-assembled with parts previously removed in the correct position with exact hardware.
I would suggest removing everything, Paint the firewall and front frame. Then start the re-assembly.
Bolt's were not torqued to spec while I put it back together.
700r4 Transmission - Fluid has been drained. Change the filter and pan gasket and run it as is.
Fluid was old, but showed no signs of excessive wear.
350 TPI Engine - Oil was drained but I never pulled the oil pan.
Fluid was old, but showed no signs of excessive wear or water.
The aluminum heads were removed (have pictures) - No surprises, Clean and re-use if you wish.
__
3 owner car with fair mileage for the year. Accident free.
Gas tank has been drained and cleaned.
New Race Electronics High flow fuel pump.
New Delco fuel sending unit.
I have a T.P.I Stainless bolt kit and a G.M. Air inlet duct.
There is a JEGS aluminum jack ($230.00, bought new for this project) and 4 jack stands, they go with the car.
__
Took me 14 hours to break everything down, 8 hours to put it together to this point. This is my first C4 project.
2 pictures show the car in the garage as it sits today.
Car has been locked in a garage since I got it - it's dry.
$1850 (see below)
