Due to financial considerations (getting my garage built is more important than a new engine in the wife's Firebird) I'm selling off my new, never run 383 stroker.

Here's what its got:

BLOCK
Washed, bored +.030, painted black, freshly powdercoated timing cover (silver) and oil pan (gloss black).
NEW Clevite77 bearings.
NEW Felpro gaskets top to bottom.
NEW GMPP Extreme Duty LT4 Timing Set.
NEW LT4 HOT cam.
ARP studded mains.
NEW Melling Oil Pump.
NEW 9000 series 3.75 stroke crank, w/ lightening holes, internally balanced.
Eagle Steel Rods
NEW 10.5:1 Silv-o-Lite Pistons.
NEW Federal Mogul Lifters
NEW GM F/B-Body Balancer
Rebuilt (Napa) F/B-body Waterpump
Stock GM F/B-Body Starter

HEADS
1994 Aluminum LT1 castings, cleaned, degreased and pressure tested. With freshly powdercoated valve covers (gloss black).
3 angle valve job on 1.94/1.50 stock type valves (I went with smaller valves because of the alititude up here, to maintain velocity). Minor bowl cleanup work.
NEW Comp Cams 1102 Steel :eek: Roller Rockers.
NEW K-Motion K-750 Valve Springs (good to .610 lift)
NEW Manly Guide Plates
1994 GM Hardened Pushrods

INTAKE
LT1 Intake, freshly powdercoated in LT4 red.
Cleaned and flowed GM LS1 28pph injectors.
BBK 52mm TB.
NEW S&P Polished Billet EGR block off plates.
NEW Corvette Injector Covers.
PCM With Y-body 383 .BIN

Over 5200.00 invested with all the machine work and parts, PCM, etc. Will take 4850.00 plus shipping. I can ship a long block anywhere in the US for about 150.00. Add up what a core plus build up costs. Its not cheap. :)

Desktop Dyno predicts 398hp and 449fpt.
