My ’95 ZR-1 is now available $36,000 obo
This was was sold in early 2016. --Bob
For 2016 now priced at $36,000I do still need to sell my award winning '95 ZR-1 and while I will continue posting the current asking price of $36,000, I will respond quickly to and seriously consider any reasonable offers. I am frankly a bit surprised I have not had more offers on the car as it is truly an excellent and special ZR-1. But clearly I had priced it too high earlier; the market place has spoken. If you had an interest before but thought it was priced to high, and you are still interested in it, let me know what you believe it is worth and you might find yourself with a surprisingly good deal. See some newer pix near the end of this thread.
For those looking for an award winning late production ‘95 ZR-1, here is a great opportunity. This is #409 of 448 built in 1995, the last year for C4 ZR-1 production. It was built in the last few weeks of production in April (tank sticker date March 30, 1995; last ZR-1 was produced in the third or fourth week of April). It looks stock and is in excellent condition for its 32,500 miles. Despite its stock appearance, it has more than $20,000 of period-correct performance modifications by world-renowned ZR-1 expert Marc Haibeck (www.zr1specialist.com), including his 510 HP package on its original 350 c.i. Dunn Head DOHC motor, 4.10 rear gears, a stock-appearing Hurst shifter and electric QTP exhaust cutouts. He also performed an extensive initial servicing when I bought it in 2012. Price is now $36,000 obo. It was recently serviced by Marc and has Michelin Pilot Sports as well. There are a number of pictures on this forum in my Albums section. I have the clear title and a clean CarFax showing two previous owners. It was originally delivered to Connell Chevrolet in Costa Mesa, California and was owned by the last owner from 1999 to 2012. ZR1 Net Registry references available for myself and the car. For more information send a private message, email me at banksrlrl@gmail.com or call at 847-975-3942. –Bob

Bob, GLWS.. For those who don't know the Haibeck 510hp package is not cheap and still maintains stock 350cid and stock cams drives like a kitten until you open the secondary's.
Someone is going to get a lot of bang for the buck here.

I noticed that a red 1995 ZR-1 sold at Mecum Kissimmee Sunday for $49,500 including buyer's premium ($45,000 hammer price). 1800 miles and Roger Judski car but mighty good price for a stock car. --Bob

That's the cleanest ZR-1 I've seen in a long time! Good luck with the sale.

Thanks! It is a clean one but I do drive it so it has a few very small stone chips commensurate with 30k miles. Still it has won a few trophies at local car shows. I plan to head for Bowling Green in May for the gathering (assuming I still have it). Certainly a fun car with the extra horsepower. --Bob

Getting a professional detail and paint correction done today. Nice service--they can come to your home which is great before we get good weather. Getting rid of 20 years of swirls and minor scratches. Already looks even better than before although this picture is a bit blurry. So an extra plus for whomever becomes the new owner. --Bob

It cost me $450 plus a $50 fee for them to do it at my house in my garage. While that is a lot of money for car polishing, note that there were two guys (who are quite experienced) and they worked on it for six hours. Very glad to pay the fee to have it done at home. Saved a 40 minute drive each way. Plus its not ready to come out of hibernation just yet. Look what happened today--Bob

I think it was reasonable, although cheaper would have been nicer. I just wish we could get a string of decent days, with a little rain first to wash away the salt, so I could get it out for its first spring run. --Bob

New Price for WARP TEN 95 ZR-1
In honor of the advent of Spring in Chicago (maybe), tax day and finally getting the Z off the lift and out for a drive, I am lowering the price on WARP TEN to $41,950. Also took a few new pix; the newly "corrected" paint looks great! Still planning to go to Bowling Green in May but if you buy it ahead of time you can drive it home from there! --Bob

Back from Bowling Green--great C4/ZR-1/GS gathering! Put about 900 miles on WARP TEN and it ran flawlessly (except for one of my cutouts staying open due to a loose electrical connector at one motor; fixed now). The track touring session was awesome--really pretty hot laps. And great camaraderie. Also WARP TEN won the NCM Car Show & Shine Friday. --Bob

Summer car show season finally coming
Summer car show season is finally almost here in Chicago. Warp Ten couldn't make it to the Morris IL gathering this Saturday but will hit a few others soon. The For Sale sign will be on her and will hope for a few more trophies this year. Price still only $41,950 obo for this great condition, low mileage, late production, limited production Haibeck 510 HP package ZR-1.--Bob
