FS: 90 ZR-1 Red/Saddle $12,500/offer (SALE PENDING)
Up for sale is my 1990 ZR-1 Red/Saddle with 53,600 on the odometer; rebuilt at 52K miles in 02/2011. $12,500/best offer
VIN: 1G1YZ23J7L5801727
Engine: Fully ported (heads/IH/plenum/63mm TB) by Greg VanDeventer (Ported and polished, back cut valves, machined exhaust guides for seals, milled
cylinder head decks, polished cylinder head combustion chambers); RC injectors (205cc). South Georgia Corvette Stage 1 cams (lift .420, duration 230 degrees at .050 intake/exhaust). Rebuilt bottom half with stock take offs from 95 crate. Blueprint and balanced by builder in Hawaii. Stock coils/Magnecor wires. Powdercoated, stainless bolts, chromed parts, etc. Everything replaced at the time including all sensors, water pump, etc. etc. Too many details to list. Battery relocation to behind passenger seat.
Exhaust: Stock with B&B Tri-flow 3" cat back with B&B resonator (car needs headers)
Flywheel, Clutch: Both Fidanza Single Mass Aluminum (new with rebuild in 2011) Fidanza Stage 3.2 Kevlar disc
Trans: Stock with Hurst Shifter, Haibeck 4.10 speedo correction and BMW Castrol fluid; sound/heat insulation in tunnel
Differential: Rebuilt 2010 with drain plug mod, studs, new bearings, clutches and Yukon HD 4.10 gears; powdercoated half shafts; CBeam plate
Suspension: All polyurethane bushings throughout including differential hanger. Front/rear shocks replaced.
Wheels/Tires: Stock wheels powdercoated black centers/BF Goodrich (older)
Brakes: Slotted drilled plated rotors, "ZR-1' lettered calipers from discbrakesrus.com front, stock calipers rear, Russell braided hoses
Interior: Al Knoch custom two tone leather with ZR-1 embroidered in headrests. Recent carpet/mats in 2010 with heat/sound insulation under. Wheelskins cover on wheel. Redline custom shift boot two tone. Door panels two tone. Aftermarket JVC Chameleon stereo; speakers/amps stock.
Good: Overall a pretty nice car and I would consider it a driver and not a show car. Interior is like new. Many new items throughout the car including emblems, fuel pump assembly, all vacuum for secondaries, etc. Brand new Odyssey battery (Feb 2016). Some minor work to tuning and headers makes this a strong car.
Bad: Has exhaust leak at manifold. Not running right and very rich; no time to resolve. Paint is not original; floppy ears sunvisors; no sound from stereo; A/C needs recharge (R134 converted). Windshield delamination around the edges partial covered by Greenwood fairing kit.
History: Car was shipped from Hawaii to Japan (2011 - 2014). Car was in storage in Japan and was driven periodically on temp plates. Car returned to Hawaii, then CA in 2014. Stored in CA.
Priced for quick sale and will be sold to best offer within a week. Car has Hawaii title (in storage), not registered. Car will be posted for sale locally too.

Melting Slicks
Is it showing codes? Was it originally red with a repaint?

I have not had time to check the car for codes; I might be able to on Thursday or next weekend.
Yes, it is repainted original 81U, Bright Red. It was painted by the previous owner before I bought it in 2003.
