Buy it now would be my first choice. You have nice rims and tires, and its a 6 speed. Clean it up a little, and take some nice pictures of it. Give a detailed list of its pros and cons, and if you can assist in getting it to a shipping depot, if needed.

So didn't sell in a couple of days. But over 1/4 way to reserve.
Hopefully.

That's a lot of car for the money... People are finicky these days I suppose. Plus there is too much cheap credit out there, so they are interested in newer stuff.

I love these old cars, have had several c6's (gone now) but still have my c4 coupe.

6 speed Lt1 with tires/wheels/exhaust/stereo in nice shape should easily get $5000

If it weren't for the cooling issues I'd be interested. I think that is what is hurting you the most trying to sell. Could be an easy fix or could be a can of worms...

Not really. Now you have a better gauge of the market for this car. Apparently, people are scared of cars with known issues. The car should have sold...pretty quickly.

These at the end of the day are toys, and people want a great buy. Especially if a known problem exists, then they are like sharks (or vultures) looking to scoop up it.

There is a 02 corvette, 6 speed, 105 thousand miles in nice shape clean title on ebay right now. The guy cant get $over $8200 (buyer didn't pay) because he states the "transmission slips". It's been listed 3 times and re-listed. Trans slips could be a clutch, or a new transmission and clutch... ugh. Otherwise an easy $12 thou car.

You car has value, apparently it's going to be a little harder to sell with the fan issue.

Soooo..... Dump it cheap, or fix it and re-try?

That's why I feel I have it priced accordingly.

But will give it to you for that.

I'm in the same boat, I was hoping at highway speed you might not over heat.

I still can't believe this hasn't sold. A solid 6 speed driver, decent miles, good condition. This is an easy $6000 car. You could easily ground the relays (for temporary use) and at least make it drivable for potential buyers? Just a thought.

Has anybody even come to look at it?

I'm frustrated for you.

No one has looked at it. A lot of the usual crackpots on craigslist though.

I will have to search about grounding the relays. At the $4,000 I offered it to a couple of people though. I doing minimal work on it for that price.

Looks like a nice car. I just looked up what it cost to ship it and its still a pretty good deal with that. I just don't think I can do black though. I have another black car already . Its tempting though.

Haven't read the whole thread but if you want to turn on the fans just turn on the A/C.
