No damage to the car as it was in Dallas at the time of the storm.

I was concerned about the same thing. Any word on if the car and the owner are OK and if both survived the storm unscathed.

All is ok. The car was not in the flood as it was at my brothers house in Dallas. Good thing as my house was flooded and we are in the rebuild process.

that is what my car exactly like yours sold for 2yrs ago. Maybe you should contact Corvettes of Houston/Gateway Classic Cars or Collectors Paddock and put the car on consignment.

I have it listed in many places, not just this forum. I have tried ebay multiple times as well...without any success. Tired of the ebay fees. Anyway, I do have it in many places in addition to this forum, but have not tried youtube. Thanks for the advice.

That sucks to have to sell a car to pay for damage.
Looks like a great car, hope you get your reduced asking price! That certainly seems like a reasonable amt for that car...

Not as bad as it sounds. I was looking to sell the car anyway...just lowering the price to try and move it quicker to help cover my repairs. Thanks for the support.

Awesome colour combination, in my opinion the best available for a real 1996 CE vert !

How many owners ? Are you a long term owner ? Do you have any docs available about her history (ownership, service/maintenance) and/or other glove box utilities ? What do Carfax/Autocheck tell ? Does she need anything now (but a new owner) ?

Michael

If I were closer to Texas I'd come and look at it,
AND, probably buy it! But I'm in Ohio recuperating from
an accident in which a drunk ran a red light and demolished
my '96 black vert. This happened in Dallas.
I'm looking for another '96 vert but Texas is kind of far to
go on speculation. I wish there was a way.......
