I wouldn't do that.. the hard top makes that car to me and a lot of people would agree...unless your keeping the car.
Nice car but too high for my budget.
I had a new 85 model automatic red on red back in those days........ it was a nice Corvette
Good luck

Thanks for the response on the top.. i'm not a rag top man so the hard top would be a must for someone like me plus its more sexy with the hard top on.
someone could get that seat recovered and have a very nice Vette

The drivers seat back wear really hurts the overall appearance of your vert. I believe you could get a leather replacement for under $500 and easily install it yourself.
I did well selling my cars on CarGurus (which is free) and ebay. As noted by others this forum is not so good as most lookers already have a C4

OP Sal at north hollywood auto upholstery can get that bolster right w/o an arm and a leg
Think the fact there are many C5s under 10 that are halfway decent makes it tough....those looking for vette according to price vs the C4 fanatic. Your buyer is out there.

I haven't had a single call on it! I'm honestly surprised about it.. when I began shopping Corvettes I felt that the first gen C4 was the most aesthetically pleasing and pure design- a HUGE jump from the ones that came before. The clean lines and balanced proportions of the roadster are just gorgeous, and nothing beats the engagement of the open air driving experience (and still have the ability to strike a unique profile with the hard top). I didn't like the look of the airbag interiors and I wanted a six speed so it focused it right down to the 89... I guess my point is- I think this car is the absolute sweet-spot of the C4 run (in my humble opinion)...

tried ebay and open to overseas buyers? Its too expensive to build a car over there, easier to sell a nice one and bring the money

Definitely keep the hard top. From the pic shown, it looks stunning. Plus, gives the new owner an option.
