Default 1986 Z51, Manual, 32k Miles

Up for sale is my ultra clean, low mileage, rare optioned, nicely modified 1986 Z51 coupe. Bright Red exterior with graphite leather interior, L98 350 V8, 4+3 manual transmission, D44 heavy duty differential, blue lexan removable top, red painted removable top, sport seats, and 32,000 original miles. It is loaded with almost all options available. Clean Carfax, receipts, and title are in hand.

I am the third owner. I purchased the car completely stock in April 2015 with 30,982 miles. The original owner from Wisconsin retired in Arkansas where a Chevrolet dealer purchased the car and placed it on their showroom floor. The Corvette was purchased by a local gentleman shortly after being placed on the showroom floor. He was able to log 1000 miles onto the car before being forced to sell. I believe he was supposed to be shopping for a minivan for his family.

This car has never been raced or auto crossed. It has been a garage queen all of its life. I would rate the original paint at 8.0 due to some imperfections that are hard to see. The interior is about a 9, It has very slight wear on the drivers side bolster. I have matching graphite leather in case repairs are ever required. It drives like a 30,000 mile car. It is tight and goes down the road straight.

This Corvette is super clean and shows very little wear for its age. There are no leaks, runs and idles smooth, AC blows cold, and the Corsa exhaust is totally quiet at cruising speeds.

I am obsessive about my cars. They need to have a combination of looks and performance. I think I achieved that stance with the lowering kit, wider wheels, Nitto N555’s, large rotors, and Corsa exhaust.

Documentation and research shows some minor issues were addressed by the previous owners. Receipts indicate the AC compressor and related parts were replaced to update to R134A refrigerant at 29,714 miles. The heater core was also replaced. Work performed by Smith Chevrolet in Pineville, MO.

The following is a list of items I have serviced and/or installed new during my ownership. (approximately 1000 miles).

I love the stance on your car. So those are factory ZR-1 wheels with no spacers correct?

No they are the Grand Sport 50 mm offset with spacers. I have a pair of the 36 mm ZR1 wheels, I just need to get them painted. This is a pic of the front spacer.

At that price, you're giving this car away. It's beautiful! I only wish I had the extra space right now and it would be in my garage next to my 85.
