1987 Corvette - Low Mileage & New AC

Golden Sunshine, aka Goldy, is a stunning and unusual 1987 Corvette with a Targa top and bronze metallic leather seats. She is only one of 451 cars made in this color combination of bronze and metallic beige. She has only 15,000+ original miles!
She was specially ordered and built for a Corvette engineer, and was later sold to a fellow Corvette engineer, who added her to his collection of Corvettes. All of the cars, including this one, were kept in his climate controlled storage for 22 years until the owner’s death. His son inherited the collection, moved it to Florida, and then sold off each car.
When we bought Goldy, she was in museum quality condition with all original parts in perfect condition (including the original 1987 tires!).
We kept her in our garage in Florida and showed her, keeping her mileage to a minimum with weekend driving. Goldy won the Top Three award for the C-4 category in the Suncoast Corvette Show in St. Petersburg in 2010.
We moved 6 years ago. The car is now in North Carolina. Due to a lack of garage, she was kept covered outdoors. Due to weather fluctuations, the Targa top cracked and there is some minor water spotting on the passenger seat. The Targa top was re-lensed, using the original frame. The paint on her is still excellent and shiny. Almost all of the parts on her are still the original parts, and she only has slightly over 15,000 original miles on her. Today she sits safely in a showroom at Streetside Classics.
She is still a gorgeous specimen, turning heads everywhere, and has been meticulously and lovingly maintained. We have always used only the finest products to maintain her interior and exterior condition, detailing her ourselves because of our love of quality. Goldy was our baby, and now she can be yours!
All parts are original and in fine working condition, with only the following having been replaced:
· New air conditioning system, upgraded to R-134 in August 2017
· New tires in 2016 (less than 200 miles have been put on them since)
· New starter in 2016
· New battery in 2017
· New mufflers in 2017
· Re-lensed Targa top on original frame in 2017
